Common Issues with Albania e-Visa Applications

  • Passport Problems: If your passport is damaged, expired, or missing key information, your application might get delayed. Always ensure your passport is in good condition and up to date.

If you hold dual citizenship, use the same passport for both your application and travel, as the e-Visa is linked to it.

  • Incorrect Information: Mistakes in your personal information or travel details can lead to delays or rejections. Double-check everything before submitting your application.
  • Payment Issues: If your payment doesn’t go through, your eVisa application will not be processed. In this case, you should contact your credit/debit card service provider.

Important Notes

  • Make sure all details in your application match your passport. If you hold dual citizenship, use the same passport for both your application and travel, as the e-Visa is linked to it.
  • The e-Visa does not allow work or long-term stay. Apply for the correct visa if you plan to work or live in Albania.
  • Use approved border points to enter and leave Albania, and carry a printed copy of your e-Visa for checks if needed.
